As part of the project developed for IKEA B\u0103neasa<\/strong>, the Xplorate<\/strong> team conducted 3D laser scanning measurements<\/strong> to create a comprehensive 3D model<\/strong> of the entire structure, including MEP elements<\/strong>, providing a highly detailed digital twin.<\/p>

The 3D BIM model<\/strong> enables an accurate and detailed visualization of the entire structure, optimizing maintenance and asset management. This model helps reduce repair costs, improve project planning, facilitate quick integration of modifications, and minimize operational risks, ensuring efficient and predictive infrastructure management.<\/p>

Approximate scanned area: <\/strong>46,600 sqm<\/p>

Deliverables:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Colorized point cloud<\/strong>, georeferenced in Stereo 70 s<\/strong>ystem (2532 scanning stations)<\/li>
  • Virtual tour<\/strong> generated from the point cloud<\/li>
  • 3D BIM model (digital twin)<\/strong> including structural, architectural, and MEP elements<\/li><\/ul>

      • Alarm buttons, smoke extraction buttons, keypads<\/li>
      • Surveillance cameras and emergency lighting indicators<\/li>

      • Pipes categorized by function (fire suppression, hot\/cold water, gas, stormwater)<\/li>
      • Ventilation and air circulation systems<\/li>
      • Cable trays differentiated for high and low voltage circuits.<\/li><\/ul>
