How long does it take to create a virtual tour?
It depends on the surface area, number of levels and complexity of the space. For an average space, capturing images takes a few hours. Delivery of the tour is usually done within 24-72 hours, depending on the elements that need to be integrated.
Can measurements be taken in the virtual tour?
In a standard virtual tour, measurements are not available. For this feature, a virtual tour made with Matterport is required, which allows for approximate measurements to be taken directly in the 3D model. For cadastral works, design or technical checks, measurements made with dedicated equipment are required.
Can we restrict access to the tour?
Yes. Access can be password protected and the link can be shared with designated individuals. The options available depend on the type of tour and the platform used.
What is the difference between a 360° virtual tour and Matterport?
The standard virtual tour consists of connected 360° panoramas, between which the user navigates from fixed points. It can include hotspots, text, images, videos, links and integration with Google Maps or spatial survey.
Matterport creates a navigable 3D model, with spatial structure, dollhouse visualization and indicative measurements directly in the platform. The result is a Digital Twin of the space, and 2D plans can be requested separately.
